Hobbies & Interests

A passion for aviation that began through my time with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. I have flown both light aircraft and gliders — an activity that demands composure, technical precision and a genuine love of aeronautics. Flying has reinforced my ability to stay calm under pressure and think clearly in demanding situations.

I have a keen interest in building and experimenting with electronic circuits and hardware prototypes. This sits naturally alongside my Computer Science studies and allows me to bridge the gap between software and the physical world. I enjoy the problem-solving dimension of electronics — designing, testing and iterating on ideas in a hands-on way.

A deep interest in the art and craft of filmmaking — from storytelling and visual composition through to the technical demands of on-set production. My interest began long before my professional work experience, and has been developed through over a year of hands-on work on commercial film sets in a production assistant role.

Music is one of the most consistent threads running through my life. I play trumpet, jazz guitar and sing — performing across orchestras, marching bands, jazz combos and open mic nights throughout Nottingham.
